Some great suggestions: -Drive to lavender farm and have lunch at the Grange (fabulous Cabernet…) -Coffee at the Cuban place in Picton -Dinner parties every night -Picking basil and rosemary in the garden -Norman Hardy winery The kitchen was a pleasure to be in. (Thanks for arranging the weather). Our family reunion was entirely successful largely because of the House and its grounds and all the cooks enjoyed the kitchen and its facilities. This is truly a splendid house, decorating with such great taste and so much attention to detail in its restoration.  We cooked up a storm in a kitchen of our dreams and put on a few pounds eating and drinking fine wine.  We would like to thank the owners and Liz Bosma of County Vacation for allowing us the opportunity to spend a week in the paradise Eckhart House!
